I always encourage people whose homes have failed to sell to analyze current market conditions by asking themselves the following questions.

Did other properties in your community or town sell while your home did not? Can you afford to let that happen again? If it does happen again, what will be the consequence for you or your family?

Did the agent you hired demonstrate their knowledge of "absorption rates" or share with you why this topic is critically important to a home seller?

Did the agent you hired provide you with "local market trend reports"? These reports help you take all of the guesswork out of properly pricing your property, selling it quickly and obtaining the highest proceeds that the market will bear. Isn't that what you want?
